Standing/Talking There (Greensboro) is a collaborative project featuring video cityscapes and interviews from downtown Greensboro, collected by UNC Greensboro Foundations Art students. A road map of the region was cut into a wooden panel, and a motion tracking device (Kinect) aimed at this tabletop display drove a software interface that allowed viewers to activate video and audio from specific spots on the map. This installation was created for the Creative Time Summit: Art, Place & Dislocation in the 21st Century.
