Standing There (Raleigh) is a collaborative project featuring video and physical samples from the Raleigh area, collected by Meredith College students and faculty. Here’s a PDF of the instructions supplied to each participant. The physical samples are contained in a grid of plastic boxes that also form a roadmap of the region. A small web camera looking at this tabletop display drives a software interface that allows the viewer to activate video and audio from specific spots on the map.
